Medications that interact with Vidalista 20 

Nitrates

• The most significant interaction is this one. Nitrates, commonly used for angina (chest pain), include nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate, and isosorbide dinitrate.   
• Combining Tadalafil with nitrates can cause a dangerous and potentially fatal drop in blood pressure.   

Alpha-blockers:

• Alpha-blockers, such as terazosin, doxazosin, and tamsulosin, are used to treat high blood pressure and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).   
• Tadalafil and alpha-blockers can also lower blood pressure, which can cause dizziness or fainting. If both medications are necessary, a doctor will carefully manage the dosage and timing to minimize risks.

Antifungal medications:

• Itraconazole and ketoconazole, two antifungal medications, can make Tadalafil levels in the bloodstream higher, which could cause more side effects. 

Other PDE5 inhibitors:

• Sildenafil, vardenafil, and avanafil are other PDE5 inhibitors.  Tadalafil should not be taken with these medications. 

Riociguat:

• Riociguat is a medication used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.  Combining Riociguat with Tadalafil can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

CYP3A4 inhibitors:

• Medications that inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme, such as erythromycin, clarithromycin, and some protease inhibitors, can increase the levels of Tadalafil in the body.

Effects of mixing with alcohol or recreational drugs

Tadalafil can increase the risk of side effects like dizziness, headache, and low blood pressure when taken with excessive alcohol consumption. Moderate alcohol consumption may not cause significant problems, but it’s best to limit or avoid alcohol when taking Tadalafil.

Using recreational drugs, particularly those that affect blood pressure or heart rate (e.g., cocaine, amphetamines, or poppers containing alkyl nitrites), can have unpredictable and dangerous interactions with Tadalafil.   

The use of poppers (alkyl nitrites) are especially dangerous, due to the same risks as prescription nitrate medications.
